IDEAS’ abstract on qualitative scale-up results has been accepted to the Second Health System Symposium in Beijing, China.

The abstract, entitled ‘Barriers to scale-up and diffusion: findings from a multi-country qualitative study’ will be presented as a poster by Dr Neil Spicer. Neil is working to answer IDEAS’ second research question which explores scale-up of maternal and newborn health innovations:

  • Have the innovations introduced by our project partners been successfully adopted in, or scaled up to, other areas of Ethiopia, North-Eastern Nigeria and Uttar Pradesh? What helps and what hinders scale–up?
