Many deaths could be prevented with improved access to effective health care. Frontline health workers are usually members of the community, who visit families where healthcare facilities are scarce, to give health advice and education. Frontline health workers can deliver the majority of care required by mothers and newborns and are families’ first point of contact with the health system.

- Implementation project: one of several projects funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation implementing innovations to improve the interactions between frontline health workers and families and enhance the existing health system.
- Measurement, learning and evaluation partner: contracted to support IDEAS' work.
