Suzanne is the Project Manager for IDEAS and Dagu.

Suzanne commenced her career in the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade with diplomatic postings to Kenya and Egypt. During her time in Egypt she was an Australian International Observer monitoring the first-ever Palestinian elections. She then transferred to the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) until her husband resumed duty in the UK after the completion of his posting with the British High Commission in Canberra.

Upon arrival in London, Suzanne commenced employment at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine working on a DFID-funded communicable disease (predominantly TB and malaria) programme.  At the end of her five-year contract she moved back to Australia and was seconded to the University of Queensland in Brisbane managing an AusAID/GFATM funded malaria programme operating in Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. She then furthered her career by taking up an in-country position in the Solomon Islands. Based in Honiara, she was integrated into the Ministry of Health and Medical Services to support and develop the capacity of provincial malaria programme managers to implement their ambitious malaria control and elimination programme.

Her return to London in 2014 coincided with the Ebola outbreak in western Africa and she was asked to manage the set up of the LSHTM Ebola Vaccine Trials project on an interim basis. This was the largest grant LSHTM had ever been awarded at €58 million.

She then joined the London International Development Centre coordinating an interdisciplinary agricultural and health platform.
